Palm has released the latest update to the Pre's webOS, but the new update is deprived of synchronisation with Apple’s iTunes.
Palm WebOS 1.2, which has a number of feature updates, takes around 15 minutes to download and install.
The new update will let its users to enter credit card information into the App Catalog to prepare the system for paid downloads.
Users can also now download Amazon MP3 songs over Sprint’s 3G network, while contacts synergy now includes contacts from LinkedIn.
More variants of cars including Lexus and Toyota will be supported by Bluetooth stack.
But, Palm’s new update lacks synchronisation with Apple’s iTunes, which will compel users to turn to Windows Media Player or to third party solutions to sync music.
